The company Plaspack Netzte GmbH contracted MasterSoft to modify their open source Webshop system to meet the needs of the Austrian tax and E-commerce laws and to tailor the shopping system to the structure of their organization.
Mainly the following features where developed:
- Customer management for commercial and private customers
- Billing system to meet the specification of the Austrian law
- Credit card payment
- VAT number check with the web service provided by the EU
- Export to the external ERP system
- Management of reseller shop systems
- Special EU VAT regulations
MasterSoft did integrate the customer and the different persons with the shopping system into the development process in order to create a shopping system which can be easily configured and managed by the staff of Plaspack.
